July 29th I brought a friend who lives outside Curitiba to visit touristic sites using a Tourism Line bus. I got astonished at the service: terrible. I say it beforehand because our bus driver conducted as a freak, trespassing double lines, doing curves at high speeds and tilting the vehicle dangerously. When our ride had just started the bus took over at yellow lights (almost red).
I’ve been thinking what a britain tourist could expect about 35 minutes delay at Tanguá Park bus station. Asked about time schedule, the bus cashier told me there was an asphalt maintenance near the Park, through which buses have to come. That is: there’s no communication between municipal departments due to imcompetent administration.
If you intend to get a Tourism Line ride in Curitiba, get a life insurance before. Further information here. (Surprise! Hard to find information in english on official website)
